Hello and Welcome to Freelancer Tips, your resource to information regarding life as a freelancer.

Maybe you’re not quite the freelancer you want to be or you just haven’t taken the plunge … well never fear as I will guide you along this exciting path of freedom and sometimes misery!

I became a freelancer the summer of 2014 and it was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. Granted, there were some interesting circumstances that made the decision less crazy, but I’ll save that for another post.

I had been working as an IT contractor supporting networks for the U.S. Army. I spent two years working abroad and as each day went by, the thought of not being chained to the desk was liberating.

So when it was time for my contract to end, I left the company and haven’t worked a 9 to 5 thus far(let’s hope this continues haha). Since this time, I’ve been a part owner of a successful startup, started multiple websites (some have done well, others have not) and have tried my best to learn the ins and outs of Making Money Online.

The main reason why I want to help people is because I received a plethora amount of help and paying it forward is the best thing to do.  I also still need help as I continue to learn, so this website will be a ‘win win’ in that information can flow both ways.

The goal of this site is to provide valuable information to help you succeed as a freelance worker.  Also to provide resources and knowledge about pursuing opportunities online or building a portfolio.

As they say, there are many ways to skin a cat and hopefully this site will provide the masses with many options to help people take the plunge and become employer independent.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to Contact Freelancer Tips and I will be more than happy to help you out and provide the best feedback.

All the best,
